August 2005, Indy Thunder Softball established featuring one (1) 10U team.
April 23, 2006, Thunder take 3rd in first ever tourney to qualify for the USSSA World Series.
June 19, 2006, Thunder earn first trophies by finishing 2nd in the USSSA State Open Tourney and take top honors as the top “B” Class team.
July 28, 2006, Thunder competes in first World Series at Disney World and place 13th.
August 2006, Indy Thunder grows to two (2) teams featuring a 10U team & 12U team and moves up to “A” class.
October 15, 2006, Thunder 10U takes 3rd in first ever PFX Tour.
April 21, 2007, 1st ever Indy Thunder home run hit by Jess Laubecher.
April 22, 2007, Thunder 12U finishes 3rd in first ever tourney and qualify for NSA “A” World Series.
April 29, 2007, Thunder 10U take 2nd in Midwest Qualifier to earn a berth to the NSA “A” World Series.
June 2, 2007, 1st ever Indy Thunder shutout thrown by Catilin Yanis.
June 2, 2007, 1st ever 10U homerun hit by Davis Carter.
June 10, 2007, Thunder wins first ever tourney when 10U team wins Caleb Wassen Memorial.
June 30, 2007, 1st ever Indy Thunder perfect game thrown by Catilin Yanis.
July 1, 2007, Thunder 10U win Brownsburg Invitational going 7-0 and outscoring their opponents 78-14. The Thunder hit 2 home runs and a grand slam. The Thunder also pitched 5 consecutive shut outs and outscored their competition 59-0 in the last 5 games.
July 15, 2007, Thunder 10U take 2nd at the Ben Davis World Series Tune-Up.
July 27, 2007, Thunder 10U & 12U travel to Charlotte, NC to compete in NSA “A” World Series. Thunder 10U finish 25th with 8 players; 12U finish 65th.
August 2007, Indy Thunder grows to three (3) teams featuring 10U; 12U; and 14U teams. |
