How to Help Increase Fan Attendance 0 0 none
Fan attendance is important to publicize ice hockey within both schools. More fans generate more money to the organization, but equally as important, more fans generate excitement during the game for our players. If each player asked and got two friends to attend a game, we'd have almost 50 additional fans supporting Indy-Page hockey! Don't forget the teachers, too. Some love the game and have never been to their own school's hockey games. Their support would be a tremendous impetus to generate interest in our team. Stimulating fan interest in our team has endless possibilities! Imagine a bunch of our players' friends wearing Indy-Page Hockey shirts, shaking noisy shakers, cowbells, etc., girlfriends wearing the extra jerseys, and on and on! A real fan base, for a real high school sport. Club sports thought of as a "lower category" is a thing of the past. Most of our players have considered ice hockey THE sport for a good part of their lives! Let's bring ice hockey a number one choice of high school sports to attend from October through February!
