The Hurricanes will start their run to the MABL Championship on Sunday, September 6th against the winner between the A's and Orioles. The game will be played at Chatard H.S., game time is 3:30pm.

CANES MAKE IT BACK TO BACK AGAINST STALLIONS...WIN 5-4!!!
Once again John Hensley and the Canes defense held the Stallions offense under control! Hensley picked up his second win of the season against the Stallions going seven innings, while allowing eight hits and four runs, only two earned! Kenny Hughes came in to relief for the eighth and ninth innings and allowed just won hit while strking out two!
Offensively the Canes were lead by Tom Gandolph who went 3 for 4 with a HR that plated three runs! David Harrell also homered for the Canes, Harrell was 1 for 1 with two walks!
The Hurricanes will play the Stallions again this Sunday at Roncalli, game time is 3:30pm!

2006 looks promising for the Canes!!!
The Canes are coming off their best season since joining the MABL and the 2006 season looks to be promising. Several new players have been added to the roster which should help the Hurricanes make another push towards the MABL crown. Although some new arms have been added to the roster, the Hurricanes will be looking for another solid year out of two-time Cy Young Award winner, John Hensley.
This years compitition looks to be as competitive as ever, with the Indy Stallions joining the MABL for the first time and teams such as the defending MABL champions Indy Dodgers, Indy Red Sox, Arrows and Roosters adding more talent to their already talented rosters.

The Hurricanes have cracked the top 15 in the Indiana state rankings for the first time. With an impressive ending to the season, the Hurricanes showed that they are a much improved team from the years past. Watch out for the Hurricanes next year as they look to improve!!!
