New Game in Town
What is this new baseball world series? Well, it's something old that's something new again. It's the Mid-America Wood Bat Association World Series. The Bandits Baseball Club is sponsoring a new World Series event. Having hosted 7 World Series events in the past and wanting to provide something new to our area, we've brought back wood bats into baseball. This is a unique opportunity for teams to participate in what their parents and even grandparents grew up with. This year, the MAWBA is offering World Series events for ages 9u, 10u, 11u, 12u and 14u. The 13u teams can participate in the SANDLOTT World Championships in the middle of July at Bandit Yard. We hope that you will take a look at these tournaments and take a step back in time. Join us at the Bandit Yard and listen for that "crack" of the bat!

Mid-America Wood Bat Association World Series, 11U, July 11 - 13
The 11u Mid-America Wood Bat World Series will take place from July 11 - 13 at the Bandit Yard facility. This is the first year for this event, but not the first year for the Bandit Yard to host a World Series. We've added something different for the younger age groups as they will be using some of the best wood bats made. Come join us at the Yard to hear the CRACK! of the bat and enjoy some Hoosier Hospitality while you're at the games. Cost for this tournament is $475.00 (3 bats provided) or $ 400.00 (no bats provided). Teams will be guaranteed 4 games, weather permitting. You can qualify for this tournament by playing in one of the other 11u tournaments at the Yard this season also.

The 9 Mid-America Wood Bat World Series will take place from July 18 - 20 at the Bandit Yard facility. This is the first year for this event, but not the first year for the Bandit Yard to host a World Series. We've added something different for the younger age groups as they will be using some of the best wood bats made. Come join us at the Yard to hear the CRACK! of the bat and enjoy some Hoosier Hospitality while you're at the games. Cost for this tournament is $375.00. Teams will be guaranteed 4 games, weather permitting. You can qualify for this tournament by playing in one of the other 11u tournaments at the Yard this season also.

The 14u Mid-America Wood Bat World Series will take place from July 18 - 20 at the Bandit Yard facility. This is the first year for this event, but not the first year for the Bandit Yard to host a World Series. We've added something different for the younger age groups as they will be using some of the best wood bats made. Come join us at the Yard to hear the CRACK! of the bat and enjoy some Hoosier Hospitality while you're at the games. Cost for this tournament is $550.00. Teams will be guaranteed 4 games, weather permitting. You can qualify for this tournament by playing in one of the other 11u tournaments at the Yard this season also.
