Well the final game was played Saturday 11/19 against one of the best teams in our league. What exciting soccer. Unbeaten Immaculate Conception was down 1 goal for most of the game. They tied on a penalty 14 minutes from the end of the game that was nearly saved by Will Harris. IC got the deciding goal 2 minutes from full time from a crossing ball that rebounded in off the far post.  For those parents who were not there this was another spirited outstanding game by our boys and they did themselves proud. Our previous game against St Ursula was also a 3-4 nail biter. Fortunately, IC and Ursula are in the other division, both finish with 14 points. If we had won either game we would have won the league overall. Our record of 4 wins - 3 loses gives us 12 points and should put us in first place for a Division Trophy. It was hard to pick a player for the Hustle Award this time as we had so many outstanding players but Jac Culotta ran his heart out this game and is the 7th winner of the team Hustle Award.

Thanks for supporting the team this season. The boys really improved their skills and played great together as a team both on and off the field.

***     Remember no jewelry. If you wear glasses they must be secured to your head with a tie. You must have your uniform and shin guards to play.

  * MUSTANG HUSTLE AWARD

  The team hustle award is awarded to players who play a good game, show good sportsmanship and listen well to the coaches.

  In another hard fought game vs Immaculate Conception Jac Culotta is the 7th winner of the 2011 Season Hustle Award. Jac played left middie and made many good runs along the side line. Jac chased down the IC players and made good solid tackles to recover the ball. He stopped many advances down the sideline towards our goal. He made good passes to his team mates under pressure and always showed good sportsmanship. 

Well Done Jac.
