(6 year olds can play up in the Machine Pitch Division if they have completed at least one year of T-Ball) This is a learning division. This division will use the 60-foot diamond of the standard Little League Field. Special soft baseballs are used to reduce any sting if hit with a baseball.

Junior League BB Division
Junior League Baseball is commonly referred to as Senior Little League baseball. This level is age driven and is strictly for league age 13 and 14 year old kids meaning advanced 12 year olds may not play up. A players league age is determined by the players age as of April 30, 2012 for all divisions of baseball programs.
Teams will be formed after the last week of March and players will be notified by their respective coaches shortly after team assignments are completed. All Players that are league age of 13 and 14 are required to try out.
The game is played on full-size baseball fields with 90 foot bases and 60 foot, 6 inch pitching distances. This level remains very instructional and designed to provide a transition from the smaller little league field and less complex game to the larger field and less restrictive rules ie. Runners leading off, pitching from the stretch, etc. With the vast changes in playing rules a great deal of teaching and learning must take place. However, teaching the values of teamwork, honesty, and putting forth ones best effort remain at the core of this program. The measure of merit in accomplishing this objective is the development of the players as people as well as baseball players.
Teams at this level begin playing away games against teams from other surrounding leagues and communities during regular season play. Generally there are six to seven teams in the league with two to three teams coming from the Indiana League. Normally players are assigned to a particular team by league officials based on player ability, positions played (ie. pitcher and catchers), sibling participation and conflicts with other team participation. All-Star competition is also held following the league playoffs with one team being chosen to represent the Indiana League.
Home games are played on the White Township Recreation Complex fields and the kids occasionally will have an opportunity to play on the high school stadium field as scheduling allows.
Since the older players dont want to participate in the Tag Day and Slugfest fundraisers a participation fee of $60 is required to help pay for field rental and umpires. If the participation fee is burdensome to a family other arrangements can be made through league officials to ensure no players are turned away for financial reasons.
