NEBRASKA IMPACT TEAMS UP WITH XPLOSIVE EDGE
Zach Hansen
Zach Hansen

Last season three of our teams qualified and attended nationals.  Last season three of our teams attend Xplosive Edge's conditioning program.  Guess who those teams were?  Yes, you are right.  The teams that attended Xplosive Edge's conditioning program were the same three teams that qualified and attended Nationals in Miami last season.  Successful results.............?  We are convinced.

This coming season Nebraska Impact has teamed up with Xplosive Edge to make conditioning affordable to everyone.   Nebraska Impact is making it mandatory for all players on it's Select teams to participate in Xplosive Edge's program.  It is highly suggested that our 1's teams make this program part of their club experience also.  For those players who think that it is not affordable to them, please talk with us and we can make payment arrangements.

Nebraska Impact will have professional conditioning coaches assigned to our players.  Designed specifically for volleyball athletes, the Xplosive Edge has teamed up with Impact to create the superior power athlete. Trained only minutes from The Courts located inside the Millard Center at 145th & Giles, Impact athletes can train immediately before or after practice with X-edge. Emphasis is put on increasing strength, balance, agility, and range of motion, all while developing more power. These Impact Volleyball athletes are increasing their vertical jumps while at the same time learning how to jump and land on the ground as well as accelerate and decelerate. Plyometrics are included in our training regimen only when the athlete has become strong enough to control their bodies in space. Impact athletes are trained twice a week (45 min. sessions) right before or after their practice. Each athlete is pre and post performance tested to see their own individual performance index score created by Boyd Epley of Epic Athletic Performance.

Meet Zach Hansen at the "Meet the Coaches" meeting on October 18th and at tryouts!  He will be happy to answer any questions you might have.  He will attend qualifiers and nationals with our teams to make sure that everyone is fit and taken care of in case of any injuries.
