NEBRASKA IMPACT TEAMS UP WITH XPLOSIVE EDGE
Designed specifically for volleyball athletes, the Xplosive Edge has teamed up with Impact to create the superior power athlete. Trained only minutes from The Courts located inside the Omaha Sports Complex at 147th & Giles, Impact athletes can train immediately before or after practice with X-edge. Emphasis is put on increasing strength, balance, agility, and range of motion, all while developing more power. These Impact Volleyball athletes are increasing their vertical jumps while at the same time learning how to jump and land on the ground as well as accelerate and decelerate. Plyometrics are included in our training regimen only when the athlete has become strong enough to control their bodies in space. Impact athletes are trained twice a week (45 min. sessions) right before or after their practice. Each athlete is pre and post performance tested to see their own individual performance index score created by Boyd Epley of Epic Athletic Performance.  ALL REGISTRATION FORMS ARE DUE NOW.  PLEASE TURN THEM INTO KIM YONG ASAP!  Click here for registration form.

Mark A. Pletka Memorial Scholarship Fund Offered by Nebraska Impact VBC
Mark was killed in a car accident in 2008.  He was an avid volleyball player in the Omaha area and a long time friend.  This memorial scholarship fund was created in Mark's name to keep his memory alive and to give deserving Nebraska Impact players scholarship grants to help defray their 2009/2010 club fees.  Click here for a scholarship application form.  Send it to Nebraska Impact VBC, c/o Mike Godek, 7785 Greenleaf Drive, LaVista, NE 68128.  Deadline is December 1, 2009.  If you would like to donate to this very important fund, please contact Debi at 402-339-6951.

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULES!
Tournament schedules are posted on the Great Plains RVA website weekly.  You can find your team's playing schedule usually by the Wednesday before your tournament.  The Great Plains website address is www.gpvb.org.  Click on "Juniors" and then "Tournament Schedule".  Scroll down the page to the tournament your team is playing in that weekend.  There will be a link to click on that will show when and where your team plays that particular weekend.  Click here to go directly to the page. 

NEBRASKA IMPACT QUALIFIES THREE (3) TEAMS FOR NATIONALS!!!
Our Impact 17 Select Toxic, 16 Select Inferno and 15 Select Banzai teams have qualified for a bid to the Girls Junior Nationals Championships to be held in Miami, Florida this summer.  The 17 Select Toxic team will play in the American Division June 28th through July 1st.  The 16 Select Inferno team will play in the American Division June 26 through June 29 and the 15 Select Banzai team will play in the National Division June 30 through July 3rd.  Good luck girls!
