NEBRASKA IMPACT SETS RECORD!
Impact set a new club record by qualifying FIVE teams for the USA Volleyball Junior Girls' National Championships this season (2013)! Congratulations to 181 Shihai, 141 Hammer Time, 131 Banzai, 132 Voodoo and 121 Nitro. The 141 Hammer Time team won the National Bid by placing 1st in the Great Plains Regional Tournament on Saturday, May 4th, the 132 Voodoo team placed 3rd to win the USA Bid and the 121 Nitro team won a trickle down American Bid by placing high in the 12's bid tournament. Five teams from Nebraska Impact will be competing in Dallas, Texas, this summer June 28 through July 3rd, 2013. Nebraska Impact Teams Finish High at Northern Lights Qualifier! Congratulations to our 131 Banzai team and our 181 Shihai team who won the USA Bid to the Girls' Junior National Championships this summer in Dallas, Texas. They won the bid by competing at the Northern Lights Qualifier in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Kudos also goes out to the 151 Bushido team who finished 2nd in the 15 American Division out of a field of 70 teams and to 161 Amp who won the Bronze division placing 19th. 2013 SUMMER EVENTS SCHEDULED 1. Cornhusker State Games Tryouts for all ages. Click here for Registration Form. IMPACT 131 BANZAI TEAM WINS PRESIDENT'S DAY TOURNAMENT!!!! Congratulations to our 131 Banzai team who won the 13 Club Division at the President's Day Tournament February 16, 17 and 18 over 48 teams. They went undefeated in match play all the way to the championship! Impact 121 Nitro placed 10th in the 12 Club Division out of 28 teams. Impact 181 Shihai placed 13th in the 18 Club Division and won the Silver Tournament out of a field of 48. Impact 122 Aces placed 14th and Impact 123 Electric placed 15th in the 12 Club Division. Impact 182 Strength placed 21st from the 18 Club Division. All of our 18 teams who participated played great and we are proud of each and every one of them. Way to play girls! Congratulations to our JV Oasis Team that competed in the Omaha Lightning Tournament held at The Oasis Saturday, October 20th, winning first place in the JV Division. FOUR IMPACT TEAMS QUALIFY FOR NATIONALS!!! CONGRATULATIONS! Congraulations to the 12 Bojonzai team, who won the Great Plains Region National Bid Berth to the Junior National Championships to be held in Columbus, Ohio this summer and to the 12 Voodoo team, who won the American Bid both in the 12's division. Only three bids were given out and Nebraska Impact won two of the three. Kudos also go out to the 131 Fierce team who qualified for the American Bid in the 13's division and to the 18 Select Banzai team who won the American Bid on Sunday in the 18's Division. Wow, four teams going to nationals this season!!! A new record for Nebraska Impact VBC!!! We are so proud of you!!!! GREAT WEEKEND FOR IMPACT! It was a great weekend for Impact! The 11 Select Toxic team won their 11's tournament at The Oasis Spring Fling. The 12 Select Bojonzai won the 13's Division at The Oasis March Fling and the 171 Static Shock team won the tees at Sunday's (3-11-12) Shamrock-Platteview Tournament. Congrats, girls! ANOTHER WIN FOR IGNITE! Ignite added another win to their record at Sunday's (2-19-12) tournament. The team beat the #2 ranked team which was a big win for them. Congrats, girls!
BANZAI WINS TOURNAMENT ON 2-12-12
The 18 Select Banzai team won the 18's tournament 2-12-12 at Spikes in Lincoln. ANOTHER WIN FOR BOJONZAI! 12 Bojonzai won their second tournament February 11 at Spikes in Lincoln winning the 13 Gold Division. 12 XPLOSION WINS AT THE OASIS! The 12 Xplosion team won their first tournament Saturday, February 4th, at The Lightning Silver Bowl tournament held at The Oasis. Seven teams made it to the tournament during the snow storm. Congrats, ladies! CONGRATULATIONS TO IGNITE! Congratulationsto the 10's team who won their tournament Sunday, January 29th in Bellevue. CONGRATULATIONS TO BOJONZAI! Congratulations to the 12 Select Bojonzai team who won the 13 Gold Division on Saturday, January 21st! WELCOME TO THE 2011/2012 CLUB VOLLEYBALL SEASON! Tryouts are over! We have some great athletes for the upcoming club season fielding 2-18's, 2-17's, 2-16's, 1-16/15's, 2-15's, 4-14's, 3-13's, 7-12's, 1-11's and 1-10's teams. Pletka Memorial Scholarship Fund Offered by Nebraska Impact VBC Mark died in a car accident in 2008. He was an avid volleyball player in the Omaha area and a long time friend. This memorial scholarship fund was created in Mark's name to keep his memory alive and to give deserving Nebraska Impact players scholarship grants to help defray their club fees. CONTRATULATIONS TO EN FUEGO! Congratulations to En Fuego who received a bid to nationals! Wow, three teams now attending the 2011 USA Girls' National Volleyball Championships in Atlanta. CONGRATULATIONS TO RAGE AND BANZAI! Congratulations to Nebraska Impact 18 Select Rage and to Nebraska Impact 17 Select Banzai for winning the Great Plains Region's bid in the "national division" to the 2011 USA Girls' National Volleyball Championships. The championships will be held the end of June and the first of July in Atlanta, Georgia. Way to go girls! We are so proud of you all. CONGRATULATIONS TO BOJONZAI! Mark up another win for Bojonzai. The team won the 11's Division at the Great Plains Regional tournament on April 2nd. Congratulations! FUTEKI AND BOJONZAI WIN ANOTHER ONE! The 151 Futeki team won their tournament at the Bellevue tournament held Sunday, March 6, and the 11 Select Bojonzai team won their tournament held at The Westroads Club Saturday, March 5. Wow! Congratulations! BANZAI PLACES 2ND @ PRESIDENT'S DAY TOURNAMENT! Congratulations to Banzai for finishing 2nd in the 17 Club Division at the President's Day tournament at the Qwest Center Monday, February 21st. They took the Texas Tejas team to three sets. Their record for the three day tournament was 8-1. Wow! BOJONZAI WINS AT VOLLEYMANIA! Congratulations to 11 Select Bojonzai for winning the Volleymania tournament at The Digz Saturday, February 12th! ANOTHER WIN FOR 12 SELECT EN FUEGO! Congratulations to 12 Select En Fuego for their second championship. They won the 12 Gold tournament at The Oasis Early Bird tournament Saturday, Jan 22nd. Two tournaments and two wins! CONGRATULATIONS TO 151 FUTEKI AND 16 SELECT AMP! Congrats to Team Futeki for winning the gold tournament in the Bellevue Snowball Classice this past weekend and to Team 16 Select Amp for winning the 16 gold tournament in the Omaha Wave January Thaw (Jan 16)! CONGRATULATIONS TO 12 SELECT FOR WINNING THEIR FIRST TOURNAMENT! We had seven Impact teams play this past weekend (Jan 9). Everyone played awesome! We heard several comments from the stands that the Impact teams were very impressive. The 12 Select team really made a big showing by winning the gold tournament at the Bellevue Winterfest Tournament @ Bellevue West HS. CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2010/2011 IMPACT PLAYERS! Exciting news, Nebraska Impact's Kayla Haneline from the 181 Rage team made the USA Volleyball High Performance Continental Team and is an A2 Alternate. The final roster has not been announced yet. Maybe we will see Kayla some day playing in the Olympics! Congratulations, Kayla!!! NEBRASKA IMPACT 18 SELECT FURY, 181 RAGE & 16 SELECT BANZAI TEAMS WIN BIDS TO NATIONALS IN RENO!! Congratulations to all of the 18 Select Fury, 181 Rage and 16 Select Banzai players, parents and coaches for winning a Bid to the Girls' Junior National Championships in Reno, Nevada, this summer at the Sparks-Reno Convention Center in June. The 18 Select Fury team will play in the National Division and the 181 Rage and 16 Select Banzai teams will play in the American Division in their respective age divisions. Several fundraisers will be going on for the teams in the next few months. Please show your support.
WEATHER CANCELLATIONS FOR NEBRASKA IMPACT PRACTICES
Since all of Nebraska Impact's practice facilities are NOT schools, we have decided to change our policy for canceling practices. Even if schools have been cancelled for the day, Nebraska Impact has decided to continue practices if the weather permits. If the weather is a factor, we will have updates on our website throughout the day. If you are not sure, please check with your coach to see if your practice is not being held. |

New Home of Nebraska Impact Volleyball Club opens February 1st 2010!
NEW FACILITY NOW OPEN!!!!
Our new 4 court facility is NOW OPEN! Final inspections passed with flying colors Monday, February 1st. The facility's name which was announced at the open house Friday, February 19th, is "The Oasis Sports Center". It is located just south of 137th Circle and Giles Road at 8619 South 137th Circle, Suite 2, Omaha. Everyone is welcome to stop by and check it out. A BIG THANK YOU to all for being so patient. We think that it was worth the wait. Our ceiling is 24' high and our courts are regulation size.

PARKING
Do not park in the stalls to the west on the south AND north side of our building. Our neighbor to the west is a company like UPS and they need access to their garage doors 24 hours a day. Please make sure you do not park in front of their garage doors. We have additional parking on the north side of the building when we have tournament weekends, but do not park on the west side because they need to be able to get their trucks in.
