Welcome to Nebraska Impact Volleyball!
HIGH SCHOOL & MIDDLE SCHOOL PRE-TRYOUT CLINICS OFFERED FOR ALL!!!
Do you want to brush up on your skills before high school and middle school tryouts begin? Nebraska Impact's clinics before school starts will begin July 26, August 2, and August 9, 2009, at The Courts Volleyball Facility. Clinics begin at 1:00 p.m. for 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 year olds and at 3:00 p.m. for 15, 16, 17 and 18 year olds. Sessions are two hours long. Specialty clinics are $40 per person and All Skills clinics are $20 per person PER SESSION. Deadline for all clinics is one week before each clinic. Walk-ins are welcome but will be charged a $5.00 late fee. Click here for registration form.
NEBRASKA IMPACT QUALIFIES THREE (3) TEAMS FOR NATIONALS!!!
Our Impact 17 Select Toxic, 16 Select Inferno and 15 Select Banzai teams have qualified for a bid to the Girls Junior Nationals Championships to be held in Miami, Florida this summer. The 17 Select Toxic team will play in the American Division June 28th through July 1st. The 16 Select Inferno team will play in the American Division June 26 through June 29 and the 15 Select Banzai team will play in the National Division June 30 through July 3rd. Good luck girls!

New this season, we are offering Nebraska Impact VBC car decals. These decals are being sold by the 16 Select Inferno team for a fundraiser. PRESIDENT'S DAY TOURNAMENT IMPACT TEAMS FINISH AT THE TOP!
Congratulations to our Select teams who participated in the President's Day Tournament over the weekend!!!!
After the first day of pool play all five of our teams were still in the hunt for the gold and all finished in the top half of the tournament.
13 Select Smash finished 3rd in the Gold Tournament out of 32 teams;
14 Select Chaos finished 16th (won the Bronze Tournament) out of 40 teams;
15 Select Banzai finished 14th out of 48 teams from the Silver Tournament
16 Select Inferno finished 9th in the Gold tournament out of 52 teams and
17 Select Toxic finished 15th out of 48 teams from the Silver Tournament

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULES!
Tournament schedules are posted on the Great Plains RVA website weekly. You can find your team's playing schedule usually by the Wednesday before your tournament. The Great Plains website address is www.gpvb.org. Click on "Juniors" and then "Tournament Schedule". Scroll down the page to the tournament your team is playing in that weekend. There will be a link to click on that will show when and where your team plays that particular weekend. Click here to go directly to the page.
2008-2009 CLUB SEASON
Welcome to our Nebraska Impact VBC players and their families! We have some excellent athletes this club season and we are anxious to get started. Congratulations to all who have joined the Nebraska Impact Family and welcome back to those of you who have been with us in the past.
Thank you for being patient during our planning stage. We apologize for any inconvenience you have suffered for our lack of available practice court time this season. Nebraska Impact players will continue to have practice at The Courts Volleyball Center located at 137th & Giles in LaVista and a few teams might practice at The Volleyball Center at the Westroads.
Eventually your team will have a set schedule for practice times throughout the season. Practices will be held two nights a week. Some teams may practice on Saturdays and Sundays until tournaments begin in January.

Mark A. Pletka Memorial Scholarship Fund Offered by Nebraska Impact VBC
Mark was killed in a car accident this past year. He was an avid volleyball player in the Omaha area and a long time friend. We are creating this memorial scholarship fund in Mark's name to keep his memory alive and to give deserving Nebraska Impact players scholarship grants to help defray their 2008/2009 club fees. Nebraska Impact 151 Inferno Qualifies for Nationals!
Congratulations to the 151 Inferno players who qualified for the USA Volleyball Girls' National Championship tournament to be held this summer June 30 - July 3, 2008 in Dallas, Texas. The team qualified by finishing 2nd at the Great Plains Region bid tournament on May 4th winning the American Division berth to the national tournament. The team's players are: Middle Blockers Kendra Martin, Tori Nietzel and Frannie Fuxa; Right Side Hitters Jessica Kuehner and Emily Davis, Setter Jessica Hampton, Left Side Hitters Jenny Ludemann, Joy Leick and Carla Gibbs, DS/Libero Quinn Rensch and Rachel Bruch. 2008 Northern Lights Qualifier Information
The 131, 161 and 162 teams played Saturday, Sunday, Monday, April 19, 20 & 21 at the Minneapolis Convention Center and the 141, 151 and 152 teams played Friday, Saturday, Sunday, April 25, 26 & 27. Our 141, 151 and 161 teams all made it to the gold tournament again and finished tied for 9th place in each of their age divisions. Congratulations to all of our teams!!! You made us proud!!!
2008 Colorado Crossroads Qualifier Information
The 131, 141, 151, and 161 teams played, March 8, 9 & 10 and what a great job they did!!!! The 131 team finished 27th out of 64 teams from the Bronze. The 141 team finished 9th out of 108 teams from the Gold. The 151 team finished 9th out of 123 teams from the Gold and the 161 team finished 9th out of 120 teams from the Gold. What a great showing for Nebraska Impact teams!!!
141 INFERNO QUALIFIES FOR 2007 NATIONALS AT NORTHERN LIGHTS QUALIFIER!!!
The Impact 141 Inferno team had a FANTASTIC tournament at the Northern Lights Junior Girls Qualifier April 13, 14 and 15. They won the gold medal by placing 1st out of 84 teams in the 14 Club Division in Minneapolis to win the National bid to participate at the USA Volleyball Junior Nationals this summer June 29 - July 2. The team went undefeated all three days with a match record of 10 wins and zero losses.
