ILLINOIS LADY WOLVERINES: Welcome

Welcome to the Illinois Lady Wolverines Basketball Club!

We are a full season, year round basketball club that offers skills camps, personal instruction, travel teams, college exposure and assistance in your daughter's recruiting. Our goal is to teach your daughter the fundamental skills at the most competitive level, as well as teaching the finer points of  the game.  We aim to make your daughter the best individual player she  can be, while learning how to play in game situations and by being an ultimate team member.  The mental aspect of the game is also a must for competitive players to succeed.  We will teach your daughter to learn how to "think" the game and to be a "student" of the game.  We are a non-parental coaching club.  Each one of our coaches are experienced high school or college coaches.  We will create a positive environment at all times for your daughter to help them thrive in their quest to be the best player they can be.

Our travel teams play in the most competitive tournaments available, exposing them to the different styles and situations they will need to succeed at the next level.  We will always place them in a situation where they will have every opportunity to succeed.  Our club is nationally renowned, enjoying much success at the state and national level over the past several years.  In the short time we have been an exclusive girls' club, we have had 21 girls that started with us that have received full-ride scholarships to play basketball in college.  We will do our best to get your daughter to the next level!

CONGRATS TO ALL OF THE TEAMS FOR COMPETING AT THE NCAA OBSERVATION EVENT THIS PAST WEEKEND! GREAT JOB GIRLS! COMPETITION WAS GREAT AND SEVERAL COLLEGE COACHES WERE IN ATTENDANCE AT OUR GAMES!

 THE ILLINOIS LADY WOLVERINES ARE PROUD TO WELCOME FORMER UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS ALL- AMERICAN, MCDONALD'S ALL-AMERICAN AND PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL PLAYER, JANELLE HUGHES, TO THE COACHING STAFF!

WE ARE ALSO VERY PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT ONE OF ILLINOIS WINNINGEST HIGH SCHOOL COACHES, JOHN MANIATIS, HEAD VARSITY COACH AT HILLCREST, WILL BE JOINING OUR COACHING STAFF AS WELL! COACH "M" BRINGS 20 PLUS YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND A PASSION THAT IS NOT RIVALED BY MANY!
