The 2009 regular season has come and gone as fast as the rain this season. As we wind down upon us is the tournament season beginning on July 5th. To all of the players, managers, coaches, whom were chosen to represent your leagues and teams good luck along with great sportsmanship this tournament season. At the left you will find a link "District 13 Tournaments" which has all the brackets for all of the tournaments hosted by District 13. Find yours print it out and watch the results as they will be updated daily. I do also want to note that these schedules are subject to change so keep reviewing your brackets. Good Luck to all and lets bring home a few State Championships for Illinois District 13.

Thursday, June 25
District 13 Staff will be hosting a 2009 Mandatory Tournament Managers meeting on Sunday, June 28 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Westfield Community School located at 2100 Sleepy Hollow Road in Algonquin. This meeting will cover all the rules, paperwork, etc. that all managers will need to know for the upcoming tournament season. This is a mandatory meeting and if your team is not represented your league will be fined and you will be suspended from managing the first game of the tournament. District 13 will be conducting our 2009 Birth Certificate Verification on Monday, June 29th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the VFW in Carpentersville located at 301 Lake Marian Road. Click on the heading link for a map to this location.

District 13 is pleased to announce that TriCities Little League has chartered a Challenger Division for the 2009 Season. This is the districts third chartered Challenger division which includes Bartlett LL and Elgin American LL. Click on the headline to see a nice article written in the Daily Herald.

Your league's local rules, ground rules and bylaws are developed, maintained and approved annually by the Board of Directors and are not considered part of the Constitution. NONE of the local rules should conflict with Little League Rules, Regulations, and Policies.
