Great job Stephanie Popovich! Your exceptional dedication, leadership and hard work was so very impressive. I could not be any prouder of you.
From day 1, your mental attitude, mental focus and mental strength was at the top of the charts. When it came right down to the very end, this is what put you over the top.
The competition for this award was incredible and it was great seeing every player raise their level along the way.
I see a very bright future for Stephanie Popovich after College and always want you to remember to keep pushing yourself just like you did here.
I'm very excited for the upcoming season and am looking forward to your continual development and vocal leadership along the way.

USA / ASA - We Play Only The Best
Why do we play the pre set USA / ASA tourney schedule? It is simple, that is where the best competition in the world is and the colleges.
You only get better by playing the best and seeing what it takes to reach new heights. Nothing in life comes easy and USA/ASA softball is the standard measuring stick to be evaluated against.

Andrew M. Pacyga Annual College Scholarship Fund
I am pleased to announce the Andrew M. Pacyga 1st annual College Scholarship Fund.
Every Febuary, prior to the start of high school softball, an Illinois Bandit Player will be selected and receive a very generous scholarship for future college expenses.
The criteria is very simple. If you are an Illinois Bandit Player, you are eligible.

Midwest Softball
| The Midwest and especially Illinois is producing some really incredible softball players. The sport has grown tremendously and is a testament to the players who work so hard.
I agree that most of Illinois teams are watered down due to fierce competition. I must say that I have seen some great athletes from just about every program, i.e. Lemont Rockers, Homer Hawks, Orland Park Sparks, Beverly Bandits, ChiTown Express, Oak Park Windmills and Stone City to name a few. These dedicated athletes and families are really great for the sport.

TOYS FOR TOTS / TURKEY SHOOT
This weekends 18U tournament at Joliet's Inwood Sports Complex is a Toys for Tots Fundraiser.
Each player from the Illinois Bandits needs to bring a new toy with them on Sunday. All toys will be donated to a great cause.
A special thanks goes to the Hawks and Rockers Productions for coordinating this event.
The Illinois Bandits gave up the fields this weekend for a great cause and to enjoy some great softball!
