The Robin's Donuts Minor Hockey Classic is a 4-day tournament involving over 100 hockey teams in 11 divisions. The tournament is organized and sponsored by the Port Arthur Minor Hockey Association and takes place in 6 arenas in Thunder Bay. We are again pleased to welcome Robin's Donuts as our major corporate sponsor. The proceeds from this tournament go to support the teams of Port Arthur Minor and Pro Kids of Thunder Bay.

The Tournament begins Thursday, January 14, 2010. Out-of-town teams will start early Friday morning.

Divisions will be:

Bantam AA        13 & 14 years old        
Bantam A & House        13 & 14 years old        
PeeWee AA        11 & 12 years old        
PeeWee A        11 & 12 years old        
PeeWee Girls        11 & 12 years old        
Atom AA        9 & 10 years old        
Atom A        9 & 10 years old        
Atom Girls        9 & 10 years old        
IP2 (Novice)         7 & 8 years old        
IP1 Jamboree        4 - 6 years old        Saturday & Sunday, January 16 & 17 – 2 games

Tournament Entry Fee:        IP1        1 hr games        $250.00 – 2 games only
        Novice, Atom, (PeeWee Girls)        1 hr games        $550.00 – at least 4 games
        PeeWee        1.5 hr games        $650.00 – at least 4 games
        Bantam        1.5 hr games        $650.00 – at least 4 games

NOTE: The Committee is totally committed to providing balanced competition for all participants. Your application will be scrutinized carefully to ensure balance. We believe it will provide an excellent weekend of hockey for all participants. All teams will play at least 4 games (excluding IP1).

AWARDS
Each member of the winning and runner-up teams will receive plaques or trophies.
There will be a “B” side championship game for Novice Boys only.
All participants receive a participant t-shirt and medal.
There will be a two star selection after every game.

NOTE: The Tournament Committee reserves the right to accept or reject entries and to make changes to tournament structure as may be required. No Refunds after December 15, 2009. Please make a cheque payable to: Robin's Tournament.

DEADLINE FOR APPLYING – DECEMBER 1ST, 2009

All applications received after December 1st will be assessed a $50.00 administration fee.

WE REQUIRE:

-        Travel permit for your team to participate in the Tournament (at first game).
-        Approved Rosters must be presented upon request to the Tournament Committee (Registered with the Branch).
-        Acceptance of a team releases the sponsors, their officials, arena management and all concerned with the tournament from responsibility for any accident or injury which may be incurred by a player or team official while attending or participating in the Robin's Donuts Minor Hockey Classic.
