Crimson Hockey began officially on November 11, 1996 with the first practice in school history. Things got off to a very good start with the first game on November 26 against Robbinsdale Cooper. Dan Winkler scored on the first shot on net in Crimson history propelling the Crimson to their first victory. On January 30 of that year the Crimson moved to the Maple Grove Community Center and opened it with a 7-1 victory over Coon Rapids. The inagural season for the Crimson also provided their first ever playoff victory over Champlin Park. Since then the Crimson have gone on to post an overall record of 173-111-19. They have been the Section 4AA runners up 3 times. They have played in both the Twin Cities Suburban and Northwest Suburban conferences. In their relatively short history, 23 Crimson players have moved on to play hockey at the college level. - Crimson Hockey - eteamz.active.com/crimsonhockey
