BANK PASSING

Bank Passing

Have the kids line up in the corner of the ice on the opposite side of the goal you want them to shoot on. Place two cones 5 to 10 feet away from the wall, on a line towards the far end of the rink. The athletes objective is to handle the puck from one length of the ice to the other, executing bank passes around each of the cones.

Skating close to the wall towards the far end of the ice, bank the puck/ball off the boards as you approach each cone. After receiving the bank around the last cone, take a good hard shot on goal. Drill can be done with or without a goalie.
