LAX NEWS Hampton Youth Lacrosse

Welcome to the 2009 Season!

Parents meetings are scheduled for 12/4/2008 and 1/15/2009 in the Hampton Middle School Cafeteria at 6:30pm.

 2009 HYLAX SPRING REGISTRATION:

 You will need three things to register your boy

1.       Registration Form – click on the handouts tab

2.       A signed Golden Rules Form – click on the handouts tab.

3.       A current USA Lacrosse membership available here: http://www.uslacrosse.org/membership/index.phtml

Please hand in the forms at the meeting or send to Alice Uehling, 3087 Fairfield Court, Allison Park, PA 15101 along with a check in the amount indicated on the registration form.

Please note that all players MUST BE A MEMBER OF USA LACROSSE in order to practice or play in a game. To become a member of USA LACROSSE go to the following web site: https://secure.uslacrosse.org/default.cfm?fuse_action=NewMem

Practice: Indoor practices are tentatively scheduled to start on January 10th at Central Elementary.

 

 

GAMES:  Game Schedules and logistics can be located  by clicking the Schedules tab.  For DIRECTIONS: click the "Locations" icon. 

Every player needs to have a mouthguard that is neither white nor clear in color.  Mouthguards are REQUIRED for practice and games.

 Lost & Found:  See the coaches if you need to reclaim something.

EQUIPMENT:

Required equipment is as follows: lacrosse stick, helmet, shoulder pads, gloves, mouthguard, & cup. Arm or elbow pads are recommended.

If you are interested in speaking to someone about Lacrosse equipment you can call or visit the following: Queen City Lacrosse, 200 Villani Drive Bridgeville, PA (South Hills) 412-257-4120. Call ahead for store hours. Most Sporting Good stores, such as Dick's and Dunham's, have some lacrosse equipment, although probably not as much in the winter months.
