The White Sox rebounded with an improved effort Tuesday against the HYBC Torpedoes. Quinn McDaniel continued his impressive hitting (8-8 on the season with 2 BBs), and Jacob Huizenga added a grand slam. It was a fun game, and although I know the parents wanted it to continue into extra innings, we came up just short of tying the game in the 6th inning, and lost 15-13.
The Torpedoes' Joey Palumbo had a nice game on the mound and at the plate. As darkness was falling, he ended the game with the White Sox threatening to tie it up. Josh Palucci collected a pair of doubles in the see-saw affair.
