Opening Day Kicks Off With Major Battle
Opening Day proved to be a special day again this year for all our Little Leaguers. After the morning festivities and walk-a-thon we finally got down to some baseball. The field looked as good as it has since I have been associated with HYBC and the kids were excited.

The Titans and Spartans played solid ball trading the lead in the early innings with Sam Stein and Ryan Lumpkin doing the early dueling. The Titans took the lead for good in the 4-th inning with JT Bon's 2 run triple and a big blast over the center field wall by Jimmy Ciborowski. The game ended in an 9-8 victory for the Titans who got back to even in the win/loss category 1-1....Thanks to all the volunteers who made the day a special one.
