The Lifeletics Winter Baseball Camp is a great way to get ready for tryouts and prepare for the spring season. Lifeletics’ Winter Camp included personal player evaluations with feedback and suggestions from camp staff members. Additionally, this year’s format will involve several choose-your-position training sessions for more in-depth instruction and training. Athletes are pushed mentally and physically, teaching baseball skills alongside the valuable lessons in life that competition, hard work and teamwork can provide.
The Lifeletics Winter camp is a 5-day workout involving elite instruction from professional instructors. Morning stations blend individual instruction with station-to-station work (pitching / hitting / fielding / outfield / repetitions), with each athlete receiving small-group private instruction in each station. After a short break, the itinerary continues with quick-hitting, high-energy station instruction in fundamental areas such as rundowns, cuts/relays, team defense, skills, baseball athleticism and swing repetition. The Winter Camp also involves an Olympic-style competition as well as game competition and position-specific training.
HVLL sponsor and partner Lifeletics Baseball offers fun, challenging and instructional camps each spring, summer and winter. 2009/2010 marks the 8th year of the Lifeletics Winter Camp which carries a 6:1 player-to-coach ratio. Small group sizes equal maximum attention and instruction per athlete while avoiding lines and distractions. All instructors have a minimum of college playing experience and high school coaching experience, and follow the big-picture philosophy of using baseball as a learning tool to teach strong character traits and the attributes of a champion. Several current professional baseball players WILL be on staff for this winter’s camp! Lifeletics has supported Huntington Valley Little League by serving as a league sponsor since 2002.

In these difficult times as a family we know the strain the holidays have and the getting the kids the training to help them have an exciting year of baseball. Our camp is designed to challenge their abilities without challenging the family budget.
Since our establishment in the fall of 2005, Five Star Sports Academy was created to give the highest level of baseball training in Orange County. Our training and coaching staff all have professional or collegiate level experience and are instructing some of the top professional, college, high school and youth league players in Southern California. It is our goal to help each player develop their skills to their fullest potential. We stress the importance of not only the fundamentals and mechanics of the game, but also help each player’s mental approach to the game in a fun and exciting and challenging way to bring each player’s game to the next level.
Our training staff has over 50 years of playing and coaching experience from high school to the Major Leagues, with the experience and understanding to relate to the youngest and newest of players as well. One of our Five Star Students was just picked with the #5 pick in the MLB draft by the Baltimore Orioles out of high school.
