HVLL will host the district's first Umpire Clinic of the Spring 2010 season. It will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2010 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at the HVLL fields. Check out the "Latest News" Link at the left for more information. HVLL in partnership with Lifeletics Baseball Instruction presents a Spring Training Clinic for players, coaches and managers. This 3-hour instructional clinic will be held at the HVLL fields on Saturday, January 30, 2010 from 9:00 am - 12:00 noon. It is free for coaches and managers and $40 for athletes but click on the link below to get a flyer and send in your payment by 1/23/10 for a $10 discount (price $30)! All the Huntington Valley Little League fields are closed for maintenance from now until February 1st. Please do not attempt to use the fields - they are being reseeded and fertilized and using them at this time is unpleasant, unhealthy and it can impede the process of getting the fields ready for spring. Thank you for your cooperation. New Info regarding CPR and First Aid Training: We have "re-interpreted" the mandate from Little League Baseball and determined that CPR is strongly recommended, but not required. However, first aid training is required for one manager or coach per team. HVLL will be having first aid instruction at a future manager's meeting. We strongly encourage you to be CPR certified anyway. If you are a FireMed member, it will be free; if you are not a member, it will cost $35.00. (If you are not sure if you are a FireMed member, check on your water/trash utility bill from the city of Huntington Beach).
