Hudson Valley Heat (North): Welcome

Welcome to the home site of the 18-U Hudson Valley Heat travel baseball team.

 The HV Heat baseball club involves youth in the Ulster and Dutchess county area who have an interest in improving their skills in baseball, understanding the value of good sportsmanship while maintaining a high academic standard.

This independently operated travel baseball club is a not-for-profit organization with 501(c)3 status, governed by an elected Board of Directors and a set of by-laws adopted by the Board. The HV Heat is a member of the AAU, COBB, AABC, ACTB and USSSA National Organizations.

Our dedicated, all-volunteer coaching staff leads the team through year-round conditioning and baseball training. The boys attended a 13-week winter skills development program at the Pro Prospects Training Center in Monticello, NY. This training included 8 weeks of professionally run pitching / hitting clinics in addition to general team practices. 

As the famous Yogi Berra once said, "Baseball is 90% mental, the other half is physical". Our team stives to embody the Jim Fannin S-C-O-R-E philosophy, which is based on these five basic elements for getting into "The Zone":
