WE WON THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!
    The Othello Huskies defeat South Whidbey to become Washington State Champions for the second time in 4 years. Othello defeated; Klahowya 9-3,Mt. Baker 11-0, Montesano 3-1, South Whidbey 3-0. East Valley ended up 4th at state to make two teams from our conference in the top four.
    Patty Martinez pitched three of the four wins including the final. Jenny McCourtie pitched the other one. Delila Franco and Vicky Garza each had a home run during the tournament.
    For the six seniors this was a goal they had since last year when they were knocked from the state tourney in the early rounds.
    The Huskies ended their season with a 26-1 season record.
    Thanks to Ki-Be and East Valley for their support at the state tournament.
