Friday, April 10 Looking For A Treasurer & A Director of Fundraising LITHSAO is a team and we all pull together to get the job done!! We still need your help. Please let us know which positions you are interested in so that we can bring your nomination to the vote process. Our next Board Meeting is Wednesday, May 13th from 6:30pm to 9pm at the American Legion on Pyott Road off of Algonquin Road in Lake in the Hills. We will be accepting submissions for nominations through Monday, May 11th. Please email your personal information such as your name, team your child plays for, contact information, etc. to lithsao@yahoo.com . Please make sure to include your name, contact information, position you are applying for. We will be holding a special session Board Meeting shortly thereafter for voting. LITHSAO TREASURER’S DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES [] In charge of the consolidated Financial Statements of the LITHSAO. [] Files Tax Forms on behalf of the LITHSAO. [] Responsible for updating [] QuickBooks whether it is the program itself or the data. [] Responsible for filing all appropriate filings and reports with state or federal agencies. [] Collects all back up for individual programs such as receipts, invoices or balance sheets. [] Checks and balances all program funds. [] Responsible for providing an overall financial each month to the Board of Directors. [] Responsible for research of available grants, loans, credit cards, etc. to present to Board members if it is profitable or helps the organization. [] Shall outline the financial status at all general meetings. [] Must be a registered Certified Public Accountant or be approved by the Board of Directors of the LITH SAO.
DIRECTOR OF FUNDRAISING [] Shall schedule all Programs’ fund raising activities with the Vice President. [] Shall chair all LITHSAO fundraising activities. [] Responsible for assembling volunteers for all LITHSAO fundraising activities. [] Responsible for advertising & marketing of the fundraisers. [] Responsible for collections & deliveries as pertained to the fundraisers. [] Must provide a thorough explanation & receive approval by the board of directors prior to proceeding with the fundraiser. [] Responsible for providing updates to the Board of Directors & members of the organization with respect to collections, income, losses, liabilities, inventory, etc. QUALIFICATIONS [] Must not be a Head Coach or Assistant Coach. [] Must have attended at least 4 Board &/or Coaches meetings (can not be a head coach) [] Must have been with the organization for at least 12 months. [] Must provide an email to one of the Board of Directors, with your contact information and an explanation of "Why You Should Be Elected". [] Must present at next Board Meeting. Nomination will take place the following month and finally Election. [] For All Treasurer Positions – o You must be a certified public accountant or bookkeeper by trade for at least 2 years. o You must provide a resume. o If you are not a certified public accountant or bookkeeper please provide your qualifications for this position. o You must provide a resume. o Two Professional / work-related Referrals. o Provide a background check & provide your credit score.
