Facility Upgrades

Facility Upgrades

The Viking Baseball facilities are constantly undergoing improvement as the program continues its pursuit of excellence in all phases.  The varsity field will see two new batting cage nets put up as well as permanent tee/soft toss stations in the batting cage area.  New protective netting will also be extended from the backstop area for spectators.  A new paint job will be done on both dugouts, storage shed, and the foul poles.  The junior varsity field will see an addition to the storage area for equipment and field maintenance items as well as a new batting cage and permanent hitting nets.  If anyone who has an interest in the Viking program would like to donate or help with needs, please contact Coach Russ Degitz at rdegitz@hccsc.k12.in.us or 260-356-6104, extension 1015.
