Houston Slam 2011 Boys Basketball
Welcome to the home of the 2011 Houston Slam Boys Competitive Basketball Team. The Slam are a group of talented young men from the greater Houston area that play the game of basketball with intensity and intelligence . The Slam endured some unfortunate circumstance in 2008, with two players having serious accidents and the recent loss of our head coach Rodney Odom. The boys will dedicate this season to coach Odom and wear a number 43 patch in his honor. The Houston Slam are back and will be as strong as ever in 2009. With a new coach and a great group of parents, the HOUSTON SLAM ARE BACK.

Slam Add New Coach
The Houston Slam are happy to announce the addition of Gary Slayton to our coaching staff. Gary brings a wealth of knowledge and experience having played high School ball at Oak Hill Academy, Collage ball at Rutgers University and over 10 years of professional ball in Europe. He along with coach Bob Simpson will make for a great coaching staff. They have some big shoes to fill, taking over for Coach Rodney Odom who recently passed away.
