Welcome to the 2008 season of the 2011 Houston Slam Boys Competitive Basketball Team. The Slam are a group of talented young men from around the Houston area that play the game of basketball with intensity and intelligence . After a very successful 2007 season in which we overcame injuries to qualify and compete at AAU Division 1 Nationals in Orlando, the Slam have added some exciting new atheletes to the roster for 2008. With the best coach in the state and a great group of parents, the Slam plan to make a statement in 2008.

SLAM PLAY WELL IN THE SPRING ICEBREAKER
Great job Houston Slam! Playing without a couple key players and with a running clock the Slam played well all weekend. The coaches were proud of how hard the boys competed and we look forward to our next challenge.
