Time Trials info
Time Trials will be held this Saturday June 13. Team pictures will be taken prior to warm-up. Guoda has updated the "Box" for this season. Each family has a folder and the Box will be out during the practices. Picture information has been put in every folder.
- Individual pictures begin at 7:15. Wear your team suit.
- Team picture will be taken promptly at 8:00am. Wear your team suit.
- Time Trials begins at 9:00am, following warmups.
- Bring a breakfast treat to share. Beverages will be available for sale.
Remember to let me know if you or your swimmer will not be participating in all or part of time trials. If we know who won't be there, we can set up the heats to run more efficiently (and faster!).
Registration is going very well this year. Last year we had a final count of 186: 90 girls & 96 boys. Here are numbers as of today, June 6:
- 158 returning swimmers
- 26 new swimmers (either completely new to team or didn't swim last summer)
- 184 total (plus one additional swimmer out on injured reserve)
- We graduated 5 seniors last year (2 of whom are coaching this year)
- 9 swimmers have let us know that they aren't returning
- 11 families are not yet heard from
- 108 Hammond Park families are represented on the Stingrays
If you missed the team suit fitting on Friday 5/29, you'll need to head up to Cy's of Catonsville to try on and purchase them. They are located at 719 Frederick Avenue, 410-747-8760. It really isn't that far away. Make sure you have your suit before the team picture on the 13th.
We usually have caps, goggles, and replacement straps available for sale at practices and we do take checks.
