SOCCER CAMP
Howland Athletic club in Conjunction with Challenger British Soccer, the Nation’s largest soccer camp will be having a camp for kids age 5 -18 from 7/26/2010 through 7/30/2010 and children from all areas are welcome to attend. British Soccer Camps provide players of all ages and abilities with the rare opportunity to receive high-level soccer coaching from a team of international experts. Each day includes individual foot skills, technical drills, tactical practices, small-sided games, coached scrimmages, and a daily tournament. Equally important, the Challenger coaching staff provides your child with lessons in respect, responsibility, integrity, sportsmanship and leadership. Camp programs include a free ball and shirt and a free British Soccer jersey for on line registrations 45 days prior to camp!

Howland Athletic ClubTO CONDUCT REGISTRATION FOR 2010 SEASONRegistration for the Howland Athletic Club baseball, softball and fast pitch 2010 season will be held on the following dates:
The Howland Athletic Club offers: co/ed T-Ball for 5-6 year olds, Little League for boys 9-12, Pony, Babe Ruth, and Colt competitive and recreational baseball for boys 13-18. For the girls ASA slow pitch softball for girls 7-18, Little League fast pitch for girls 9-12, and Pony fast pitch for girls 13-18. Birth certificates are required for all players new to the HAC. Registration will be held at H.C. MINES Elementary School, 850 Howland Wilson Rd. Those interested in coaching and umpiring should also attend. All volunteers will undergo a background check.
LEAGUE AGE DATES: Boys 4/30 - Girls 12/31*
* New age cut off for 2010.

Registration for Boys 13-18
Parents of boys 13-18, It is important to make the registration dates if your son is interested in playing with the Howland Athletic Club. We currently put teams into TRI T Baseball and have been approached by Trumbull County Babe Ruth to enter teams. For us to make comittments to these leagues and have a place for our boys to play, we need to have accurate registration numbers. We offer competitive and recreational baseball for boys 13-18. If you have any questions please call Eric Doan at 506-0566. Some changes are taking place with regard to Youngstown Babe Ruth. According to David Harries, Ohio Babe Ruth Baseball State Commissioner, NO TRUMBULL COUNTY PLAYERS will be permitted to be rostered on any Youngstown Babe Ruth team. In fairness to those players from Trumbull County who played as 14 yr olds last year in Y-town, they may finish their career as 15 yr olds in Y-town.
