Named Minnesota Basketball Coaches Association's "Assistant Coach of the Year" 2011-2012 after helping Washburn to a boys State Championship (2009) and a State runnerup (2012).

Current Position: Assistant Coach at Roseville Area High School.

Experienced coach with a great deal of familiarity with high school level basketball and operations. Fifteen years of coaching while developing positive relationships and team building through effective leadership. Coaching experience includes six seasons as the head JV and assistant varsity coach of Minneapolis Washburn; prior to this held the assistant varsity coach position at Minneapolis Edison.

Preceding high school coaching, volunteered with Urban Ventures as a metro and AAU coach for boys ages 12 and under and founded and developed a traveling basketball and player development program for as risk youth in Minneapolis’ inner city in 1999 that is still active but being operated in a semi-collaboration with Minneapolis Washburn.
