GunSlingers deliver cookies and victory to moms on Mothers Day!!! The 8U GunSlingers completed an undeafeted Farm League season Sunday with a 15-7 win over a very tough Thunder team. The GunSlingers completed the the season with a 13-0 record. The total team victory was the result of good hitting, excellent defense and awesome base running. The GunSlingers will conclude the season with two Nations Baseball Metro tournaments. The first will be a road trip to Denton, TX to play in the Lake Cities Metro Blowout May 15-17. The final tournament will be the Nations Baseball South Zone tournament May 29-31 in Houston, TX. The GunSlingers would like to think the parents and fans for all of their support this year. It has been a wonderful ride!!!
Tuesday, May 12 GunSlingers Appear in Nations Baseball Power Rankings!!!! The Farm League has affiliated with Nations Baseball so teams can play in sanctioned Metro events. After all scores and information were input, the GunSlingers appeared in the Grade 9 Power -Ratings.
Saturday, January 31 Direct Energy returns to sponsor GunSlingers in 2009 Direct Energy will return for a second season to sponsor the GunSlingers. The GunSlingers want to thank Stephen Jensen and Direct Energy for their continued support. Saturday, January 31 GunSlingers enter into partnership with Double Dave's Pizzaworks The GunSlingers have entered into a partnership with Double Dave's Pizzaworks. There will be a GunSlinger night the 3rd Monday of each month. The GunSlingers thank Justin Harrod and Double Dave's for their support. Monday, December 29 GUNSLINGERS Start Spring 2009 Workouts The GunSlingers will start workouts for the Spring 2009 Farm League season on Thursday January 8. All of the GunSlingers have been working hard in the off-season and are looking forward to moving up into the 8U division and making a run for another league title.
Saturday, July 26 GunSlingers take 7U / 8U Sumer Championship GunSlingers played some incredible defense to take the Summer Championship for the 7U teams playing up in 8U division. All of the GunSlingers played some incredible defense, highlighted by a tag out at home plate. The difference in both games was the GunSlingers ability to hold runners from extra bases and make routine plays. All of the hard work paid off with the GunSlingers finishing the Spring / Summer season with a 16-1 league record against other 7U Farm League Teams. The GunSlingers over all record for 7U for 2008 is 19-3. With a combined record of 20-7 for all games in 2008. We want to thank all of the Fans and Family members for all of your support. It has been a very FUN journey. I hope the boys had 1/1000 th of the fun that Coach Jeff had this year. Monday, April 28 GunSlingers Take 2nd Place in CY Fair 'A' Great Time Tournament The GunSlingers lost a tough 12-9 decision in the championship game of the Cy Fair Sports Association 'A' Great Time tournament. The boys played some really great defense and hit the ball really well during the tournament. This was the first tournament appearance for the GunSlingers and the boys did great. The GunSlinger players and coaches wish to 'Thank' all of the fans for their support during the tournament
