Hello, My name is Archie Parks and I am the new commissioner for ASA softball in Chesapeake, Va. I would like you to be aware that I will be having several tournaments in Chesapeake this year and have teamed up with some great sponsors that has enabled me to give some great prizes that teams do not normally get by playing in local tournaments. All of my tournaments will be 4 to 5 game guaranttee high low or flighted tournaments. Also I am authorized to give a national berth in any tournament of mine that has over 16 teams. Please consider ASA Chesapeake when you are making your tournament schedule this year. Please view Chesapeake tournaments at www.tvasa.org. I know you will immediatley notice the great prizes offered at the hooters shootouts but all my tournaments exspecially my first ever tournament the Tommy Atkinson opener has some exceptional prize packs. Also since my tournaments are flighted and I have great prizes for each flight any level can play. I can't speak for the rest of tidewater but I am doing my best to make sure that if you play in chesapeake then you'll get your money's worth

Very efficient, but not overly organized.

I recently moved to Arlington and was interested in getting involved with a C or B softball team. I've played for the All-Navy Varsity Team while on the West Coast and have been on several all-tourney teams and have played in the California USSSA State Championships in Sacramento. I'm a lead-off (1-2-3) batter and have platooned between Left and Left-Center. Do you know of any openings - or is it too late to get involved. I'm seriously trying to avoid a picnic league format.
Thanks,

I do have one questoin though. How did you go about setting up your stat page? We would love to figure out a way to list ours? Could you please drop us a hint on how to get started?
Thanks for your help. Good luck this fall!!! |
