Team

Founded in 1998, Hopkinton Youth Lacrosse fields teams at four age groups--Under 9, 11, 13 & 15--and is open to boys from age 7 to 14. As a member of US Lacrosse and Mass Bay Youth Lacrosse League, no standings are kept, and no league championship or playoffs are held.

We play all players as equally as possible with the goal of teaching the sport and providing a fun experience for all involved. We police ourselves in the effort to provide an outlet for kids that has not been swept up in the pressure-filled, win-at-all-cost mania that is all too present in today's youth sports.

For answers to common questions, please see the Frequently Asked Questions on the Handouts page.

Fore Kicks Winter Leagues - Session 2

Fore Kicks in Marlborough is holding a winter lacrosse league.  Hopkinton participated in Session 1 with a U15 and U19 team.  Unfortunately, there was not enough participation from other towns at the U11 and U15 age levels.  It looks like, however, there will be enough participation for Session 2, which runs from January 31 to March 14.

Each team plays one game per week (no practices).  Format is 7v7 with two 25-minute running halves.  Cost is determined by the number of players on the team.  This is a great way to get ready for Spring Lacrosse if your player has not picked up a stick in a while.  If your player is interested, contact the appropriate organizer below ASAP:

  • U19 - Carl Adams (adamscl@comcast.net)
  • U15 - Lori Glover (loriglover@comcast.net)
  • U13 - Becky Canty (rebecca.canty@comcast.net)
  • U11 - Grace Sage (grace.sage@comcast.net)
