Holy Trinity Whitestone CYO Sports Program: Welcome

Holy Trinity Catholic Parish in Whitestone, Queens, NY offers competitive basketball and track and field programs for youths from Kindergarten through 8th grade, along with instructional soccer.  

TURKEY TROT WINNERS! Congratulations to 7th grader Chloe Munoz who won the first annual Holy Trinity Turkey Trot 5K race on Saturday, Nov. 19 in a time of 23:49.06.  Runner-up, and top male finisher, was 8th grader Charlie Robertson at 25:11.15.  Rounding out an outstanding top five were Fabian Cruz Sr. (25:43.33), 4th grader Camille Munoz (26:04.19) and Alfredo (26:07.11).  The event was a big success and raised money for the school.  Thanks again to our sponsors including premium sponsors: Harpell Pharmacies, Local 780 Cement Masons, York Funding.

HOOPS CHAMPS!  The Holy Trinity 8th grade boys won the CYO King of Queens Tournament at St. Gregory in Bellerose on March 30 with a close win over Corpus Christi.  The team had started the season by winning the CYO Preseason Tournament on Oct. 9.  

TRACK: In the fall, Holy Trinity competes in outdoor Cross Country. In the winter there is an indoor Track and Field program and in the spring there is an outdoor track program.  

SOCCER:  Instructional soccer program for grades pre-K through 5th grade is offered at Holy Trinity in the spring. Dates for spring soccer are March 28, April 4, 11, 25, May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 and June 6 at 5 pm at Holy Trinity for grades K-2 and 6 pm for grades 3-5.

BASKETBALL: Holy Trinity offers instructional basketball for boys and girls grades K through second grade from November into February. Boys and girls in grades 3 through 8 compete on Holy Trinity teams in the Catholic Youth Organization in the Brooklyn-Queens Diocese. Season runs October into March.
