Holy Cross H. S. Track & Field: Championships
TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Holy Cross Track & Field teams are among the most successful athletic teams at Holy Cross, consistently performing well during the dual meet season and in the South Jersey and State Parochial Championships. The success of the Lancer's Track & Field program is due to the team's continued commitment to three principals: Tradition, Pride, and Class.
TRADITION - Tradition is the passing down of cultural elements from one generation to the next. With the Holy Cross track program, the tradition is winning. Althought winning is part of the past, it is also part of the present. The athletes are part of the winning tradition, and have a responsibility to contribute to it.
PRIDE - Pride is self-respect or satisfaction with one's achievments. The Lancer's Track & Field team pride is shown through overcoming adversity and maintaining perservance in the pursuit of excellence.
CLASS - Class is having desirable qualities or attributes. The Holy Cross Track & Field team's class is shown through their hard-earned accomplishments, as words mean nothing. And whatever the results of the individual event or team meet, the athletes hold their heads high, knowing that they have competed to the best of their abilities.
By building on the committments of Tradition, Pride and Class, the Lancers have won the following team championships:
