TO ELIMINATE CONFUSION: IF YOU WERE ON ELITE DURING THE SUMMER YOU ARE AN INVITED ELITE PLAYER. YOU STILL NEED TO COME TO THE FIELD ON THE 26TH FOR A WORKOUT FROM 10AM TILL NOON

High School Tryouts will be on Sunday October 26th from 8am-9:30am
Elite Tryouts for those not invited already to the Elite Squad will be on Sunday October 26th from 10am till Noon

The Coaching Staff of the Hollywood STARZ would like to thank the players and parents for a great summer season. Both the High School and Elite Teams represented the Northern division well this summer with the HS team receiving a #6 seed for the Starz Cup and the Elite Team getting the #1 seed. Both teams made it all the way to the finals in the Starz Cup and unfortunately due to prior commitments for vacations and such we were unable to take the 1st Place Award. Nevertheless this summer showed great improvement for both teams and we look forward to seeing you all again in the fall. We will be sending out invitations to the tryouts dueing the month of October. Enjoy the rest of your summer!
ELITE Players: I have managed to get a Tune-Up Game this Thursday at Palisades HS. We need to arrive at 5 and we will be playing at 6PM.
The STARZ CUP will take place on Saturday August 2nd at the . Campus El Segundo Field 2 This will be for both teams. The schedule will be posted for the tournament after the rankings are finalized this weekend.
SCHEDULE:
High School:# 6 Seed Arrive at 9am for 10AM game on Field 2 vs 101 (winner moves on)
Elite: #1 Seed Arrive at 4PM for 5PM game against the winner of SB v 101 on Field 1 (winner moves on to Finals)
(If you can rearrange your travel plans to help out your team it would be greatly appreciated. We have all worked hard for the #1 seeding and it would be great to finish the season with the trophy in hand)
Attention All Hollywood Players: If you are a registered player and have NOT been receiving emails regarding play and practice please click on the link on the left of the Hollywood STARZ Home page that says "Contact The Coaching Staff". This will email us directly, please re-type your email address in the body of your email and we will make the corrections.
Practice both teams on 7/26 LMU at NOON.....If you don't see us at the lower field check the upper field.

There is practice Saturday 7/12 from 12-2 at LMU (all players both teams)
HS Games on Sunday 7/13 in the OC. Be sure to check the schedule to find times and directions. !st game is at 4PM. All players must arrive by 3PM.
It has come to the attention of the coaches that some of you are planning on skipping practice on Saturday 7/12 to go camping. If you elect to skip practice to go camping dont expect to start in the next game.
