Friday, September 22
The Holland Township Recreation Fall & Winter Programs are available for immediate registration! Postcards will be sent home through the north side of Holland area elementary school during the week of Spetember 25th! The Fall & Winter Flyer AND all program registration forms you will find under the "Forms & Flyers" tab to the left of this home page. We are highly encouraging for these fall programs that you register online due to the Holland Charter Township Office being under construction for remodeling. The online registration link is www.signmeup.com/122069. The programs include the following...
- Intro to Basketball (Boys & Girls, Kinder-2nd grade)
- Girls Little Panthers Basketball (2nd & 3rd grade)
- Girls Little Panthers Basketball (4th & 5th grade)
- Girls Middle School Basketball - Area League (6th, 7th & 8th grade)
- Lower Elementary School Dance (1st, 2nd & first year 3rd graders)
- Upper Elementary School Dance (experienced 3rd graders, 4th & 5th graders)
- Middle School Dance (6th, 7th & 8th graders)
- Adult Women's Volleyball
Wednesday, September 20
The 2017 Rocket Cheer program will have team and individual pictures today their practices at Woodside Elementary Schools today from 4:30pm-5:30pm. Please bring your "picture packet" that was handed out previously. If you do not have one we will have them on site. Please be on time today as this process is somewhat difficult due to our numbers

Youth Flag Football games scheduled for Saturday, September 23, have been rescheduled for the following...
- Michigan vs. Minnesota on Wednesday, September 27, at 6pm at Quincy Park
- Purdue vs. Michigan State on Thursday, September 28, at 6pm at Quincy Park

Our final Hunter Safety Class for 2017 took place in early September. We will not offwer any more classes for the remainder of the calendar year. Be on the lookout for possible February/March class options
Monday, August 28
Helder and Quincy Parks are open for scheduled practices and games. Park Township will be utilizing space at Quincy park while TNT, Rovers, Eagle Crest, Costa United and USA Soccer will utilize space at both Quincy and Helder Parks. Please make sure you are following the approved schedules

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources recently began its Park Here campaign to promote its Recreation Passport and Michigan’s outdoor destinations.

The 2017 Holland Charter Township Recreation Scholarship Application is available on the Holland Township Recreation web site. In order to obtain a scholarship for recreation programs you will need to review and fill out the 2016 application completely as well as supply the necessary documentation to support the application.
The scholarship program now features the possibility of a 25% to 75% reduction in recreation fees, if you qualify. The scholarship program is for Holland Township residents, ONLY!!! Programs that are coordinated by outside businesses or organizations are not eligible for scholarships.
Only (1) one scholarship application is required to be completed per participant for the calendar year. Only (1) scholarship is available per participant per calendar year. Download a copy of the Holland Township Recreation Scholarship form by clicking the "Flers & Forms" tab listed to the left of the Home Page.
