The Hogg Creek Soccer League (HCSL) is a member of the Ohio Youth Soccer Association North (OYSAN). The league was established in 2005 by a group of Lima area high school coaches and parents that wanted to provide a competitive environment for teams to play in during the summer. The league is located in Northwest Ohio and originally began with just a U-19 High School level girls league. Since that time, the league has expanded and now sponsors a U-19 High School boys league (added in 2009), a U-15 Middle School girls league (added in 2008), and a select team known as the Razors (added in 2007). Plans are for the league to expand by adding a U-15 Middle School boys league in the near future.

The purpose of the league is to promote the growth of soccer throughout the area, to provide opportunities for players to advance their skills, knowledge of the game, teamwork and fair play. As a league, the HCSL desires to bring coaches and players closer together to promote and advance soccer throughout Northwest Ohio for all of those who wish to play and compete. By doing so, the HCSL hopes to create a soccer community where coaches, players, parents and fans will come together as one TEAM and family.
