HMYA MAJORS
League age is defined as the oldest attainable age of a player during the current playing season, i.e., Although a player may compete nearly all season as a twelve (12) year old, if he/she turns thirteen (13) before May 1, the players league age is thirteen (13). NOTE: It is strongly recommended that all league age ten (10) year olds participate in the Minor League program. Players age ten (10) with a minimum of one (1) year in the Minor League program may move up to the Dixie Youth Major League program if they possess extra-ordinary talent. This practice is not encouraged and must be approved by a majority vote by the Spring Sports Committee.
