Clarke Ties and Breaks Anders' Save Records

Josh Clarke tied Mark Anders single season save record of 9 in a 3-2 against Pearl River on April 21st at Poplarville.  He also has set the mark for saves in a career with 11.  The previous record was 9, set by Anders during the 1989 season.

Josh Clarke Gets First JUCO Win

Freshman right-hander Josh Clarke picked up his first JUCO win in a 9-4 victory over arch-rival Mississippi Delta Tuesday afternoon at Joe G. Moss Field in Raymond.

Clarke entered the game with 2 outs in the second inning, with a runner on third base and the score tied at 3.  He got a strikeout to end the inning. 

He pitched 4 1/3 innings, allowed one hit, one unearned run, walked one, and struck out four.  He also got the Trojans to hit into a pair of double plays.

Josh is the son of former Eagle head coach Rick Clarke.
