I found this site and had to leave my mark as the Hilltoppers left a lasting mark on me. I played in the minors in '60 and '61 and got drafted by the Dodgers late in the '61 season. Had one at bat and struck out. Shortly after that, I moved to Houston. What great memories.

I can't believe I walked Eiler after I was ahead 0-2! And if Dow hadn't hit my in the eye with that throw back, well, I've just never been the same since. It might be fun to see some of the old team. Then again, maybe not! But I think I just might go to that 50th Anniversay Banquet. See you there. I know. I know. Thanks for the warning . . .

Awesome site! My father was a coach and a umpire for many years from the mid 60's thru the 70's. I played on the Pirates, Wildcats, and Angels from 1965-1969. I'll be sending some photos for you to keep. I will also be at the 50th Anniversary on Saturday, I wouldn't miss it. ALL THOSE THAT PLAYED with the Hilltoppers should show up!
