Hillcrest battles back and forth with Laurens in a nail bitting finish to take home the victory. After giving up the game go ahead home run by Laurens in the top of the 7th, Shane Thurston having the hot bat all night (3-3), lead off the bottom of the 7th with a double to put the tieing run in scoring positing. Ryan Short with a bunt single moves Shane to third. Perry Case then bunts for a single driving in Shane for the tie. Short moves to 2nd. Preston Baynes sacrifices Short and Case over. Jacob Watson, with another hot bat, gets the intentional Walk to load the bases with one out. Laurens stacks the infield with an extra player from the outfield to in sure a ground out force at home. Zach McAllister shows his confidence and delivers a single to deep center to bring in Short for the win!!!
