Highland Youth Soccer Club is a proud supporter of the Melissa Froio Foundation fight to cure Batten Disease.

Melissa is the sister of Kelly and Tom, two active HYSC players.  Melissa suffers from a rare neurological disorder known as Batten Disease.  Melissa was unable to ever play soccer for HYSC as the onset of this disease occurred just prior to her first season.
