HYSC SOCCER REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Highland Youth Soccer Club - HYSC - provides a recreational and travel program environment for over 1,000 players, ages 3 to 16, every year. We are one of the largest clubs in South Jersey. Our Intramural Program begins at age 3 (U-4) and includes players up until age 9 (U-10), and involves games against teams within our own Club. Our philosophy is to develop players through the use of small sided games to ensure that every player participates in every game and has FUN! Each season, HYSC fields approximately 40 intramural recreational level teams.
Our Travel Program begins at age 7 (U-8) and has boys and girls teams playing through age 16 (U-17). The travel teams play against other clubs throughout South Jersey. Currently we have 18 boys and 18 girls' travel teams playing in the South Jersey Boys and Girls' Soccer League, the Gloucester County Soccer League and the Mid-Atlantic Premier Soccer League. HYSC provides trainers, at no additional cost to the parents, for both the intramural and travel programs to assist our players and coaches.

Registration Fee:
Travel player........................................$100.00
Intramural player....................................$80.00
There is a $15.00 discount for each additional player registered in one family.
For example:
one travel player and one intramural player - $165.00 instead of $180.00;
one travel player and two intramural players - $230.00 instead of $260.00.
Players registered as intramural players who are selected for a travel team will be required to pay the additional $20.00 registration fee before they can be officially carded and given a travel uniform. Players registered as travel players who are placed on an intramural team will be refunded the additional $20.00 fee.
Players must be at least 3 years of age as of August 1, 2009 to register. The fee includes a uniform (for new players), trophy (U4-U10), trainers and insurance. Families experiencing financial difficulties are supported by the Jim Lamaina Fund.
Registrations should be received no later than August 15, 2009.
Refund Policy: If a player is placed on a team and chooses not to play for any reason, there will be a $25.00 administration & equipment charge and the remaining registration fee will be returned up until the second week of the season. All uniforms must be returned to the Club prior to receipt of the refund. If a player registers online, the online facility charges are nonrefundable. Intramural players will be assigned to teams by the Intramural Commissioner. Travel team players should attend scheduled team tryouts and will be placed on a travel team where space is available. (Please Remember!) - Registration does not guarantee placement on a team. HYSC will do its best to place every player appropriately whenever possible.
