About HASC Intramural Soccer Program

LITTLE SQUIRT DIVISION - The Little Squirt Division will be focused on Individual Player Development. The curriculum is designed for the fundamental skills that are developmentally appropriate for this age group. Our activities include fun and exciting games that will allow each player to constantly have a ball at their feet and constantly be involved.
Training will be on Monday evenings at Kolm (Triangle) Park from 5:30-6:30. The training will focus on fundamental skill development while ensuring the children have an enjoyable experience. On Sunday from 11:15-12:15 at Old Country Rd School, the children will participate in some additional training and play a small sided game. All sessions will be administered and overseen by NY Cosmos training staff.

GIANT SQUIRT DIVISION - The Giant Squirt Division will be focused on Individual Player Development with a large concentration on Partner Activities and the Player Triangle (relationship between “me” and everyone else on the field). At this stage of development, we hope to master fundamentalskills and game awareness.
Training will be on Monday evenings at Kolm (Triangle) Park from 6:30-7:30. On Sunday, from 12:30-1:30 at Old Country Rd School, the children will participate in some additional training and play a small sided game. All sessions will be administered and overseen by NY Cosmos training staff.

PEE WEE DIVISION - The Pee Wee Boys/Girls Division will befocused on a continued effort to master Individual Skills and Small Group Activities. There will be a large concentration on Positional Responsibility. Players will learn the importance of each role on the field. IT WILL NOT LOOK LIKE CHESS ON GRASS. We are preparing them for the next step of their soccer careers, Travel Soccer.
