Vipers Claim Championship

On a rather smoky and hot afternoon at California Park, in Dallas Ga. the Vipers, Coached by Tim Fuller, came out of the losers Bracket to Claim the “B” Division Farm League Championship.

Having to win a Double Header on Friday Night to make it to the Championship round is one thing, but then taking the first game of a Double Header the next morning and following it up with a second Victory to win the Championship in the heat of the day, was just assume for the Viper Players, Coaches, Parents and Fans.
And these games were not easy ones either, Friday night they had to beat a determined Lightning Team out of Dallas Coached by Durwin Vaughn and then played and equally determined Team in the Tournaments 3rd Place Canes Team, lead by Coach Anderson out of New Hope.

Then first thing Saturday morning they ran into a buzz saw of a Team in the Knights out of New Ga. Coached by Rodney English. The Knights gave the Vipers all they could handle in both games of the day, but in the end, it was the Vipers day.

The Members of the East Paulding Raiders Athletic Association (formally HHYA) would like to thank all of the Players, Coaches, Parents and Fans who participated in and watched the Tournament held at California Park. It was a most enjoyable event full of enthusiasm, sportsmanship and most of all FUN.
