The varsity players began their quest for Aberdeen with the first ever Aberdeen Challenge. The challenge is a series of events on Fridays at Wilson Ennis clubhouse to build team bonding. Three seniors selected teams that will participate in events such as dodgeball, basketball, soccer, tug-o-war, and wiffleball. The winning team will be provided with lunch at HHS.

Event 1 - Dodgeball

The first event was Friday Feb. 3.  The teams competed hard and really enjoyed the opening day of activities. The winning team members were Woodburn, Hayes, Smith, Ash, Cannon, and Warner.

 Event 2 - Basketball

Friday Feb 10th.

Huntingtown senior Joey Strain and Juinor Zach Piazza have been selected to the Maryland State Baseball coaches association pre season all state team for 2012. The team is selected from players in Maryland's public and private schools. Maryland has total of about 300 schools.  The state coaches selected the top 30 players for this award.  The players will be regonized at a banquet at Camden Yards on Saturday Feb. 18,2012.
