Important AGM Hawks Information & League Update...
Please note that the Halton Hills Hawk Annual General Meeting is scheduled for November 21st. Please note that Janet Hoskin and Ken Mitchell have both stepped down form their Executive Positions (President and Vice President respectively). Both no longer have daughters playing rep softball; and Janet Hoskin will not have a Junior Team to coach either. Due to them stepping down, there are positions available! It is imperative that these positions are filled. Voting will take place at the AGM November 21st. Nominate, and make your Vote count...
In the Hawks Constitution (available on the website under handouts and forms; league information) the current board is to designate a President in the interim. There was a quorum vote to designate Cindy Bodrug as Hawks President. Certainly nominations can be accepted up to 30 days prior to the AGM. Those parties interested can submit a nomination to any board member, or their team director. If no other nomination for President steps forward there is an opening for Secretary. It is imperative that this administrative position and the Vice President position is filled at the AGM. Please consider both these positions; Vice President and Secretary. Everyone one of our daughters have the gift of playing this fabulous game that they love and allowing them to grow into great athletes and gain character etc etc. A full board is mandatory to keep these opportunities available to them! Your time will be rewarding, and appreciated!! If you are interested in what these positions are responsible for, please read the constitution on the website.
Before listing the important AGM details; please note that league fees will remain at $600.00 / player. These fees will be paid to your team (manager will communicate the payable information soon) in post dated cheques November 1, 2010 - $200.00; January 15th, 2011 - $200.00; February 15th 2011 - $200.00. Certainly individual team budget requirements will be up to each team. The cheques will be deposited by the treasurer into each team account. If you have questions please bring them to the AGM.

These constitutional Changes require voting at the AGM, please attend!
