PINK THE PARK

As the Halton Hawks Girls Fastpitch Association and Halton Hawks '99 and '02 teams suffer the loss of their Assistant Coach, Andrew Braun, (after a courageous battle with cancer), 2 original members of the Halton Hawks '99 team, Dawn Bodrug and Megan Gallagher/Wiedekowsky, have planned something very special in the memory of a long time Hawk.
The Halton Hawks 19th Annual Fastpitch Tournament will now be a tribute to their Coach, Andrew Braun.
The theme will now be "Pink the Park"... all teams must come showing pink pride for cancer wearing pink or pink affiliated uniforms.
There will be a contest/prizes for the team with the most pink pride.
We will be selling bows, raffling prizes and selling baked goods.
ALL proceeds made will be donated to the Cancer Assisted Services of Halton and going towards a tree the teams will plant at the Georgetown Fairgrounds under their coach's name.

Any questions, don't hesitate to email Dawn or Megan at megan.gallagher12@gmail.com
or Randy Drover at deets@sympatico.ca
Thank you.

Halton Hawks Girls Fastpitch Association
The Halton Hawks Girls Fastpitch Association (HHGFA) is dedicated to providing girls aged 8 to 19 (Mite, Squirt, Novice, Bantam, Midget) an opportunity to play competitive fastpitch softball against similar teams from other communities. We are a Not-for-Profit organization operated and coached by volunteers, and financed by parents and sponsors.

The Halton Hawks are traveling "rep" fastpitch teams playing mainly against other teams in the Peel/Halton region.  These teams also play against a variety of other teams throughout the Province in various tournaments we compete in.
