Hessville Vipers INC.: For The Parents
The Responsibility of the ParentsIn order for our children to enjoy the Vipers Program it is important that the parents meet the following:
1.) Please get your children to practice on time and picked up promptly after practice.
2.) Meet your childs coaches and get to know what role your child is playing and how your child is performing.
3.) Call your childs coaches if your child will be absent from practice.
4.) Talk to the coaches if you have any questions or concerns about your child participation level and provide positive reinforcement.
5.) Please refrain from any negative language or behavior in the presence of any child.
UNIFORM:
Your uniform is the property of the Hessville Vipers Inc. You should be proud of your uniform and take care of it. Remember that your uniform will be returned at the end of the season and will be worn by another player next season. Please do not modify, cut, or deface your uniform, or pads in any way. If for any reason your uniform is lost or stolen report it to your coach immediately.
UNIFORM CARE:
Wash practice uniform regularly. Game pants and practice uniforms are to be washed in cold water ONLY. DO NOT USE BLEACH. Line dry, or dry on low heat.
ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:
Cleats (no removable cleated shoes allowed)
Athletic Supporter with cup (soft or hard)
Body Armour (long sleeve black)
OTHER ALLOWABLE EQUIPMENT:
Gloves made for football Viper stock -limited
Elbow, forearm, hand or shin Viper stock
Rib protector Viper stock
Neck Protector(COWBOY COLLAR) Viper stock
Bicep Pads Viper stock- limited

Excused Absences
Excused absences must have a note from the parent or a phone call.
Death in the family
Family emergency
Dr.Appointment
Sick
Unexcused Absences
Any practice that is missed without a note or a phone call to your coach before practice is considered unexcused.Examples of reasons for missing practice that will count as unexcused:
Too tired
Too hot
Too cold
Raining, ect.
Reoccurring Excused Absences
Disciplinary action is at the discretion of the coaches and may effect participation times. Appearing to practice or a game without proper attire or equipment will be considered an unexcused absence.
Disciplinary Action
1st unexcused absence,player/cheerleader will not play/cheer the 1st series.
2nd unexcused absence,player/cheerleader will not play/cheer the 1st quarter.
3rd unexcused absence,player/cheerleader will not play/cheer the entire game.
