 REGISTRATION.....Did you miss the sign-ups? Still need to register? You have just one more opportunity to sign-up late at the final tryout session on Saturday, Feb. 11. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the tryout is scheduled to begin. Make sure you bring all needed documents.

TRYOUTS schedule:

Saturday, February 4.....9 am to 12 noon at Morrell Park for ages 6-12 (1 pm to 3 pm at Burkholder Park for ages 13-15).

Wednesday, February 8.....6 pm-9 pm at Morrell Park for ages 6-12.

Henderson Little League operates a spring baseball season for boys and girls ages 5 to 15 who reside in the eastern portion of Henderson.

Specifically, our league boundaries include zip codes 89002, 89015, 89011 and that portion of 89012 that is east of Gibson Rd.

Divisions are:

T-Ball (ages 5-6)

Rookies {coach pitch} (ages 6-7-8)

Minors (ages 8-9-10-11)

Majors (ages 10-11-12)

Juniors (ages 13-14-15)

The player's league age is his/her age as of April 30, 2012.

Fees for 2012 are $110 for T-Ball and $140 for all other age divisions (check or cash only, please).  All players (new and returning players) will need to bring a birth certificate copy and three proof of residence items (parents' drivers license, mortgage or rent bill, utility/phone/cable bills showing current valid address). Discount of $10 for second child from the same household and a cap of $350 for three players or more.

Anyone wishing to manage, coach or be a team mom must fill out a 2012 volunteer application form which will be available at all registration sessions. A copy of your driver's license is required to accompany the volunteer form.  

Drafts set for February 13 (Majors, Juniors), February 15 (Minors) and February 16 (Rookies). 

Team Mom/Managers & Coaches meetings/Pictures for badges scheduled for Thursday, February 23.

Practices begin the day after Presidents' Day (February 21).

Opening Night scheduled for Friday, March 16, at Morrell Park, celebrating Henderson Little League's Silver (25th) Anniversary. There will be some Rookie and/or T-ball games that night, then rest of league opens play on Saturday, March 17.  Season runs until late May.
