2012 Season InformationOpening Day: 04/14/12 at 10:00amCoaches and ManagersIndividuals wishing to manage or coach a baseball/softball team in 2012 should complete the following forms and return to HLL no later than 02/15/2012 (also include a copy of your driver's license): Download & print the 2012 Volunteer Application Download & print the 2012 HLL Application ParentsPlease review the handouts in the Forms and Documents Section on the left menu. Detailed information is provided relative to Proof of Age and Residence Requirements. Age Charts are also available. You will also find the registration form that you can complete prior to arriving to 2012 Registration (to be held every Saturday in February 10a -3p at Hedgesville Elementary School). Only new players will need to complete the registration form. PLEASE NOTE: You must bring three (3) COPIES of proof of residence. These will be retained by league as per rules. No Exceptions! This pertains to all players (new and returning). Fees: $65 for first player/$50 for second player/$20 each additional. There will be NO candy fundraiser this year.
***Proof of Residency Document Clarification for the 2012 Season*** Residence shall be established and supported by documents, dated or in force between February 1, 2011 (previous year) and February 1, 2012 (current year), from THREE OR MORE of the following categories to determine residency of such parent(s) or guardian: Summary and Implementation: For the 2012 season, this requires players’ parents or guardians to provide residency documentation dated or in force between February 1, 2011 (previous year) and February 1, 2012 (current year). This means, for instance, that a Driver’s License that was issued a number of years earlier, but was in force between the dates noted, is acceptable. However, a utility bill that is dated outside of the dates noted, is not acceptable.

| All local Little Leagues are now required to conduct background checks on Managers, Coaches, Board of Directors members and any other persons, volunteers or hired workers, who provide regular service to the league and/or have repetitive access to, or contact with, players or teams. Individuals are also required to complete and submit a Little League Volunteer Application to their local league.
